Job Description
We are hiring Diploma Electrical Engineer is responsible for supporting electrical engineering tasks related to the installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment. They play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and reliability of electrical operations in industrial or infrastructure settings. Key Responsibilities Electrical Maintenance Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical systems, equipment, and components. Diagnose electrical issues and conduct necessary repairs or replacements. Installation & Commissioning Assist in the installation of electrical panels, wiring, and control systems. Support commissioning activities of machines or systems as per technical standards. Troubleshooting & Repair Identify faults in circuits, motors, or equipment and troubleshoot effectively. Use testing tools like multimeters, meggers, and oscilloscopes for diagnostics. Production Support Monitor and support electrical systems used in production lines. Ensure minimal downtime by addressing electrical issues promptly. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, fault reports, and repair history. Assist in preparing technical reports and compliance documents. Compliance & Safety Follow electrical safety standards and ensure equipment complies with relevant regulations. Participate in safety drills and report hazards or unsafe practices. Collaboration Work closely with senior engineers, mechanical teams, and quality departments. Coordinate with vendors or contractors for outsourced services or parts. Key Skills & Qualifications Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution. Good understanding of electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and circuit schematics. Hands-on experience with tools, meters, and electrical equipment. Basic knowledge of PLCs, motors, transformers, and switchgear (optional but preferred). Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Commitment to safety and compliance protocols.
