As a Digitalization Analyst within the Emerson Flow Controls Team, you will be involved in a variety of digitalization projects including data integration and management, data analysis, metrics reporting, dashboard creation, and application administration with user support. Your responsibilities in this role will include: - Understanding and managing enterprise data landscape in databases and applications, specifically SSCPQ & ERP database tables & structure - Gathering end user reporting requirements and creating reports and dashboards - Developing and handling PMO metrics and reports - Utilizing business intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to develop and maintain reports - Writing stored procedures and SQL queries for diverse enterprise needs - Collaborating with IT experts to capture and extract data from different systems and sources - Extracting data from SQL data warehouses and other data sources - Evaluating, testing, and configuring new applications as necessary - Leading and managing the configuration of existing in-house and third-party applications - Tracking change and enhancement requests, software updates, and performing impact analysis - Planning and coordinating testing of changes and upgrades - Maintaining user lists and performing user administration functions on supported applications - Monitoring, tracking, triaging, and addressing end user support requests - Supporting the development and implementation of processes for application monitoring and maintenance - Identifying process automation opportunities and aiding in their implementation - Supporting data integration and extraction efforts - Developing work plans, tracking/reporting project and task status - Providing oral and written reports to managers and partners - Staying informed about relevant technologies and applications - Keeping a record of work completed To excel in this role, you should possess: - A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science (BSc), Computer Application (BCA), or related field - Minimum of 2 years of relevant knowledge and experience - Proficiency in Python, VB.Net, C# - Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform tools and SQL - Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, etc. - Ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical staff at all organizational levels - Strong customer service and problem-solving skills - Demonstrable ability to guide and support software applications - Quick learning ability for new content areas and skills - Professional demeanor and work habits - Understanding of software and tools supporting business processes - Capability to introduce, analyze, and implement ideas, processes, and procedures Preferred qualifications that would differentiate you: - Expertise in Data Mining, Business Intelligence, understanding of Business Processes, and Project Management - Understanding of business functions related to applications At Emerson, we are dedicated to providing a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
