Responsibilities include: Developing Sales Funnel: You will be responsible for developing a sales funnel and consistently meeting sales quotas. Following Sales Process: Understand and adhere to sales processes to generate revenue and digital subscriptions effectively. Managing Customer Relationships: Build and foster strong, long-lasting customer relationships by collaborating with customers and understanding their needs. Conducting Market Analysis: Identify emerging markets and market shifts, while staying informed about new services and the competitive landscape. Gaining Competition Insight: Maintain a deep understanding of markets, customers, and competitors to effectively target needs and drive sales. Forecasting Sales: Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales to help in planning and decision-making. Generating Reports: Produce timely and comprehensive sales reports to track progress and performance. Conducting Market Research: Perform thorough market research, including analyzing trends, competitors, and customer insights. Developing Sales Strategies: Create and implement new sales initiatives and strategies to drive business growth. Engaging Customers: Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and assess the quality of the company's relationship with them. Industry Knowledge: Stay well-informed about digital sales, digital platforms, technical markets, pricing models, distribution channels, technology trends, customer buying patterns, and budgeting. Job brief: As a Digital Service Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial customer-facing role, responsible for generating a robust sales pipeline and positioning OpenBlue Solutions and Services to both existing and new customers. Your efforts will ensure a high customer satisfaction index and contribute to the expansion of our digital business. Customer Engagement: Educate and encourage existing customers to leverage digital technology and innovative approaches, positioning Johnson Controls as their preferred partner throughout their digital transformation journey. Promotion of OpenBlue: Promote the OpenBlue Solutions & Services portfolio, including 3rd party/partner IoT solutions and services, within assigned vertical markets, encompassing both existing and new customers. Digital Transformation Roadmaps: Develop and present comprehensive digital transformation roadmaps to customers, defining projects and providing implementation and integration recommendations aligning with the customers" existing environment and expectations. Stakeholder Engagement: Identify, reach, and engage key decision-makers and influencers through existing relationships, networking, personal connections, client references, and industry events. Business Strategy Development: Formulate digital sales business strategies, generate new leads, identify and qualify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to generate additional business. Collaboration with Technical Teams: Collaborate with the technical team to define prototypes and proof of concepts in cases of customer-specific development needs. Requirements for Success: Hold a bachelor's degree in Electronic, Electrical, or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 5-7 years of Sales experience focusing on digitalization and digital services. Familiarity with HVAC and Building Management System (BMS). Knowledge of common HVAC and electrical building codes, IoT, Cloud offerings & Industry 4.0. Proven Track Record: Demonstrate technology expertise to drive solutions and services around Digital and Data-driven services, Energy & Asset performance services, Predictive Maintenance analytics, Fault Detection & Diagnostics, System performance monitoring & reporting, and Building Performance optimization. Willingness to Travel: Must be willing and flexible to travel up to 50% of the time domestically as required.,
