Looking for DGM Subcontracts for one of reputed construction company in Mumbai. Subcontracting Strategy : Develop and implement subcontracting strategies aligned with projects and organizational goals. Vendor Management : Identify, evaluate, and onboard subcontract to build a reliable vendor base. Tendering & Negotiation : Lead the tendering process, negotiate terms and finalize subcontracts. Cost Control : Monitor and manage subcontract cost to ensure alignment with project budgets. Quality Assurance : Ensure subcontractors meet the required quality standards and specifications by insertion of relevant terms and conditions of contract in work order. Compliance : Ensure subcontracting activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Performance Monitoring : Monitor and evaluate subcontractors performance,implementing corrective actions as necessary. Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risk related to subcontracting. Reporting : Provide regular updates to senior management on subcontracting activities and performance. Skill and Knowledge for the role. Contractual knowledge In- depth understanding of contract laws and subcontracting processes. Negotiation skills strong negotiation to secure favorable terms. Ability to lead and manage team effectively. proficiency in analyzing cost and performance data. Communication skills excellent verbal and written. 18+ years experience in subcontract management, with at least 5 yrs in leadership role, preferably in the construction industry.
