Job Description

As a DevOps - SRE, you will be required to have at least 5 years of experience in the IT field. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and managing scalable and highly available infrastructure on AWS using Terraform. You should have strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, IAM, RDS, VPC, and CloudWatch. Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management is essential for this role. You will also be responsible for setting up Datadog to monitor system health, application performance, infrastructure metrics, and vulnerability management, as well as implementing alerting and dashboards. Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and CircleCI is required. A solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, DNS, load balancers, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is also necessary. Scripting experience in languages such as Python, Bash, and Go will be beneficial. In this role, you will be expected to automate operational processes, including CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and incident response. Managing incident response, driving root cause analysis and remediation, and collaborating with development teams for reliable releases and performance optimization are key responsibilities. Your excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills will be crucial for success in this position. Additionally, you will be tasked with building tools and solutions to enhance developer productivity, system performance, and cost efficiency. This is a full-time position with the option for contractual/temporary or freelance work. The contract length is 6 months, and immediate joining is required.
