About IMPACT HR AND KM SOLUTIONS
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Detailer to prepare detailed drawings and plans for the fabrication and erection of structural steel components. The ideal candidate will interpret architectural and structural engineering drawings and convert them into accurate shop drawings and erection plans using CAD or BIM software.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting & Detailing:

Create detailed shop drawings, erection drawings, and assembly diagrams for structural steel components such as beams, columns, braces, stairs, railings, and trusses.

Interpret and analyze structural and architectural drawings to extract steel detailing requirements.

Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications (e.g., AISC, AWS).
Coordination & Collaboration:

Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and fabricators to ensure design intent and constructability.

Detect and resolve conflicts in design documents (e.g., clashes, missing info).

Revise drawings based on feedback from clients or project stakeholders.
Documentation & Quality Control:

Prepare material lists (BOM), bolt lists, and other fabrication-related documentation.

Ensure all deliverables are accurate, consistent, and submitted on schedule.

Maintain documentation records and version control.
