About the Job We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team and provide technical assistance and support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software applications used within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Job Title Desktop Support Engineer Location Shankarpalli, Telangana Educational Background Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field (Preferred)/ Any Graduate. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, and in person. Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues related to desktops and laptops. Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and software applications. Perform hardware and software upgrades as necessary. Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues. Document support activities, solutions, and configurations for future reference. Train end-users on the proper use of hardware and software applications. Assist in maintaining inventory of hardware and software assets. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices. Skills Required Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer or similar role. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows 11) and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Mac OS and Linux operating systems is a plus. Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Customer-oriented attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality support services. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are desirable but not required. Additional Requirements This position may require occasional evening or weekend work to perform system maintenance or support upgrades.,
