Job Description
You should have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the Design and Detail Engineering of Industrial Water Piping Systems, with knowledge of various codes and standards such as IS, AWWA, IWWA, ASME, ANSI, BS, HIS, CPHEEO Manual, ISO, and DIN. Your responsibilities will include preparing and checking piping layouts for Water Treatment Plants (WTP) encompassing Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary Treatment Systems, including UF, MF, RO, etc. You will also be involved in designing, preparing, and checking piping layouts for water plant projects, desalination projects, ETP projects, with expertise in piping design of RO-DM package, ZLD package, CPU area package systems, Skid & frontal piping. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing, preparing, and checking Mechanical GA of various structures such as Chemical House, UF-RO building, centrifuge building, RCC & structural tank, and Pressure Vessel. You will also prepare and check Pump House G.A drawings, Isometric Drawings, Flow Diagrams, P&I Diagrams, Scheme Drawings, Pipeline Alignment Plan, and L-S Drawings. Moreover, you will perform Surge Analysis using software tools like IISCs SAP, Bentley Water Hammer, and recommend suitable protection devices for transmission mains. You will also be involved in preparing and checking Technical Specifications and Purchase Requests for mechanical equipment and conducting Technical Evaluation of Vendor Drawings and Documents. Furthermore, you will attend Technical Meetings with Clients, Consultants, and Vendors, including approval/technical meetings with reputed consultants like EIL, TECHNIP, TOYO, MECON, STUP, TCE, Fitchner. Exposure to 3D Modelling Software tools like Revit, Plant 3D, PDMS, SP3D, Navisworks, Smart Plant Review, Smart P&ID is desirable. Candidates should be willing to travel long term/short term to project sites, client offices, and consultant offices as required for document approval and resolution of site technical issues during project execution.,
