Job Summary Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering 2+ years" experience in mechanical design. In-depth knowledge of Solid Works, 3D. Extensive knowledge of sheet metal processes Experience in the field of design and development and expertise in computer aided 2D/3D design concepts of new products and machinery equipment. Understand the customer requirement in terms of performance standards, timeline and budget for the product Plan with break-up of the design and manufacturing activities of the product Develop optimal design of the products with focus on cost, quality and energy efficient operations Create 2D & 3D modelling of General Arrangement drawings, concept drawings and production drawings using Computer-Assisted Design (CAD) software and send it for approval to the superior Prepare the designs are as per the relevant codes, set standards and timelines Develop prototypes and test for compliance with all performance standards Revise and develop final drawings and BOM after the test results in the factory.
