Job Description

As a Design Approver (A1020_ESI ATA92 for A320/SA), you will be required to have a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage. With an overall experience of 8-12 years in Airbus Electrical System Installation (ESI), you will play a vital role in various aspects of the design and approval process. Your key responsibilities will include serving as an Airbus DOA approver signature role for ATA 928/929 or 923/924/925 within the ESI perimeter. You will provide support and advice in conducting concept studies and trade-off studies. Additionally, you will be responsible for proposing and implementing improvements in System Installation to optimize factors like weight, lead-time, and cost. Ensuring consistency between the Configured DMU and the design intent for Airbus design activities will be a crucial part of your role. You will also be required to network and liaise with a diverse range of Airframe, Systems, and Cabin sub-domains, including Industrialization and Standardization. Your expertise in Airbus Electrical System Installation rules and DMU knowledge will be instrumental in your success. Proficiency in working with A320/SA Airbus Program and familiarity with processes, methods, and tools in other Airbus programs such as A330/A350/A380 will be highly beneficial. A strong understanding of various Airbus tools, methods, and processes is essential, including but not limited to Airbus SIDP/TDD standards, Configuration Management, ESI Design Concept, Fixed and Movable bracket proposition, Airbus check process, Harness migration to CATIA V5, and Harness Installation drawing creation. Additionally, knowledge of Proptol & data preparation for treatment, functional electrics, COBOT tools, Core Elec, CIRCE-C, and CIRCE-P will be advantageous for this role. Overall, your role as a Design Approver will require meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of Airbus systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful design and implementation of Airbus Electrical Systems.,
