As a Design and Development Engineer specializing in Bakery Equipment at GEA, you will be a key player in the design and development of industrial processing equipment for the cakes, pies, cookies, biscuits, crackers, and snacks industry. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in this field, you will lead the innovation and optimization efforts to enhance the performance and quality of our machinery. Your primary responsibilities will include leading the design and development of new industrial bakery processing equipment, analyzing and optimizing existing machinery for improved efficiency and product quality, and utilizing Autodesk Inventor for CAD designing and modeling of industrial processing equipment. Additionally, you will be expected to apply simulation tools to validate designs and collaborate closely with global teams to incorporate feedback into the design process. To excel in this role, you should hold a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience within a similar function and international business environment. Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling and design, as well as experience with Autodesk Vault as a PDM system and expertise in FEA simulation analysis, are essential requirements. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is also necessary.
