Join Our Team at Dextra India (French MNC): We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Deputy Manager-Inventory to join our team in Talegaon (Pune). As the Deputy Manager-Inventory, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree or higher along with at least 10-12 years of experience in warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: - Managing all warehouse activities within the factory premises. - Ensuring stock accuracy and quality while validating stock and processing any rejections or scraps. - Supervising the timing of loading and unloading operations and providing feedback when necessary. - Overseeing subcontracting and part controlling processes. - Developing and documenting procedures and work instructions for all warehousing activities. - Controlling and reducing lead times for material supply to production. - Monitoring incoming materials and addressing any delays promptly. - Building and training the store team while supervising daily activities. - Planning, developing, and implementing warehouse safety and security programs. - Maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse by applying the 5S method. - Inspecting the physical conditions of the warehouse, forklifts, and equipment and arranging for maintenance or replacements as needed. - Analyzing monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and driving continuous improvement initiatives. - Monitoring costs such as overtime and assets in comparison to the budget. - Managing scrap direct sales and ensuring proper control and approval processes. - Conducting stock analysis, reviewing aging stock, and proposing planning strategies. - Managing inventory cycle counting and analyzing inventory gaps to identify root causes. - Participating in internal periodic inventory preparation and execution. - Providing necessary data for inventory accuracy indicators and discrepancies analysis. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to find solutions that improve inventory accuracy. - Ensuring the implementation and adherence to action plans within the organization.
