Job Description
DGM Finance & Accounts Real Estate
Compensation: As per industry standards
Industry: Real Estate Housing Redevelopment Projects
Experience: Minimum 5 years in Finance & Accounts, preferably in a Real Estate company
Location: Goregaon East, Mumbai
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Audit Oversight
- Supervise daily accounting operations with the support of accounts executives.
- Finalize audited financials end-to-end, coordinating with auditors and senior management.
- Prepare and finalize Balance Sheets, tax audit reports, cash flow and fund flow statements.
Taxation & Compliance
- Handle ROC, GST, Income Tax, TDS, TCS, and Professional Tax compliances.
- Coordinate with consultants for assessments and timely return filings.
- Reconcile and file GST returns (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B) and ensure timely tax deposits.
Banking & Financial Management
- Manage banking activities across multiple banks related to term loans and working capital facilities.
- Assess working capital needs and conduct project appraisal for long/short-term loans.
- Prepare loan applications, credit monitoring MIS, and submit compliance documents to banks and the Board.
Payables & Receivables
- Manage vendor payments, customer collections, and overall cash flow.
- Ensure timely fund transfers (NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, interbank).
Regulatory & RERA
- Ensure understanding of RERA compliances; experience here is a preferred qualification.
- Prepare annual ROC filing data and reports.
Team Leadership
- Supervise the Accounts and MIS team.
- Coordinate across departments for financial data, documentation, and reporting.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelors in Commerce (B.Com) minimum; CA Inter or MBA Finance preferred
Experience: Minimum 5 years in Finance & Accounts, preferably within the real estate sector.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Tally ERP
- Experience with GST, TDS, ROC filings
- Understanding of NBFC/banking loan products
Soft Skills:
- Strong English communication skills
- Self-starter with ability to work independently
- Persuasive and results-driven
