As a Deputy Divisional Wire Rod Mill Operation, you will be responsible for implementing all management directives within the department. Your primary goal will be to achieve all parameters outlined in the department's business plan while maintaining a safe and accident-free working environment. It will be crucial for you to ensure compliance with all management directives and analyze any gaps that may arise, taking corrective actions as necessary. In this role, you will play a key part in creating, communicating, and implementing the organization's vision, mission, and overall direction within the division. You will lead, guide, direct, and evaluate the work of other executives while overseeing all team operations to ensure projects are completed successfully within the set timeline and budget. Your responsibilities will also include making and managing budgets, reducing costs, increasing revenues, and improving overall company performance. You will coordinate and manage subordinates, facilitate interdepartmental communication, and allocate tasks and resources efficiently. Additionally, you will be in charge of managing a diverse, multi-disciplined team of professionals, setting clear goals and objectives, delegating responsibilities, providing guidance, and evaluating subordinates to maximize efficiency and productivity. To excel in this role, you must hold a bachelor's degree in metallurgical, mechanical, or electrical engineering, along with at least 7 years of experience in plant operation. Your technical competencies should include knowledge in operation & maintenance, project management, and process analytics. Furthermore, your behavioral competencies should focus on team management, leadership, guiding, directing, evaluating work, and effective coordination with subordinates. Overall, your contribution to achieving the organization's strategic goals and profitability requirements will be crucial.
