Job Description
Responsibilities of a Deburring Operator: Deburring: The main responsibility is to manually or using machines remove burrs and sharp edges from materials such as metal, plastic, or composites. Inspection: Ensuring parts meet quality standards by inspecting them for burrs, sharp edges, and other defects. Use of Tools and Machines: Operators often use a variety of hand tools (files, sanders, grinders) or automated machines (deburring machines, tumblers) to remove burrs. Quality Control: Checking parts after deburring for smoothness, accuracy, and finish to ensure they meet specific industry standards. Safety: Operating safely and ensuring that safety guidelines are followed while working with sharp tools and machines. Maintenance: Occasionally maintaining and cleaning deburring machines and tools.
