Job Description

Were hiring a DDI Architect to lead the design and deployment of resilient, secure, and automated DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of a mix of commercial DDI (Infoblox, BlueCat) and open-source technologies (BIND9, Kea, NetBox). Youll architect and manage core DDI services across complex enterprise and hybrid cloud environments, drive automation initiatives, and optimize performance at scale. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable DDI infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) Work across platforms like Infoblox, BlueCat, BIND9, NetBox, and Kea DHCP Automate operations via Python, RESTful APIs, and Ansible Evaluate and integrate new DDI technologies to enhance service resilience Collaborate with IT and Security on policy enforcement and change management Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize DDI systems continuously Document infrastructure and mentor junior team members on best practices Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience with DDI platforms Strong working knowledge of Infoblox or BlueCat solutions Proficiency with open-source tools: BIND9, NetBox/phpIPAM, ISC Kea Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, IPv6, BGP, VRFs, VLANs) Automation using Python, Ansible, and REST APIs Understanding of DNS security and protocol (e.g. DNSSEC, RPZ, tunneling, threat feeds) Familiarity with OpenSearch or similar tools for DDI observability Preferred Certifications: Infoblox Certified DDI Expert or BlueCat Certified Professional Security or networking certifications Why Join Us Architect core infrastructure for enterprise and research-scale networks Work with a blend of commercial and open-source tech Build secure, automated DNS/DHCP/IPAM environments in hybrid-cloud settings,
