Job Description
Monitoring and performing ongoing maintenance on servers, Storage, and Nasuni equipment. Providing IT support to staff and customers, as well as responding to the server Storage and Nasuni issues. Running hardware diagnostics and replacing failing parts in a timely manner. Collaborating with software and network engineering teams on cybersecurity and network efficiency. Upgrading internal system components, including CPUs, memory, hard drives, and network cables. Ability to support On-premises, Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud and Terraform. Ability to support Rack and Stag the server and storage. Ability to support VMware, Hyper-V, VxRail and Nutanix. Ability to support Windows and Linux all versions Ability to support Dell, EMC, and NetApp storage. Ability to support Nasuni Ability to understand patches and service packs. Ability to support onboard and offboard the hardware. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal staff and effectively work in team environment Ability to coordinate, supervise, and communicate with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on these systems. Documenting processes and keeping event logs. Advising on the procurement of new data center equipment. Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) Ability to logically analyze and solve problems Possess critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills Must be able to work on a shift which may require nights, holidays, and some weekends. On top of this the potential candidate also needs to have decent Linux administration skills,
