Experience: 46 Years (Hands-on, real-world experience required) Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Database engineer (Development side) to join our team for a banking sector project. The ideal candidate must have deep technical expertise in SQL Server development, query optimization, SSIS management, and job scheduling, along with strong communication and leadership skills to manage and collaborate with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Develop, optimize, and debug complex T-SQL queries. Maintain and enhance SQL Server-based systems. Design and manage ETL workflows using SSIS. Optimize database performance (from a development perspective). Manage and monitor SQL Server Agent jobs, backup/restore operations, and scheduled tasks. Ensure database security, integrity, stability, and system availability. Mentor junior database staff if required and take ownership of database-related deliverables. Required Skills and Experience: 4-6 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server Development. Strong experience in SSIS and ETL pipeline development. Expertise in query tuning and optimization. Ability to write, debug, and enhance complex SQL scripts. Strong understanding of data structures, joins, indexing, etc. Passion for solving complex data problems. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate / SQL Server Certifications are a plus. Exposure to cloud-based database management (Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is an advantage.
