Responsibilities Database Administration: Manage SQL Server database design, installation, configuration, and maintenance. Ensure database reliability, security, and performance. SQL Development: Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions to optimize data processing. Integration & Automation: Integrate SQL Server with other applications and automate workflows using Power Automate. Data Engineering: Work on ETL processes, data transformation, and data pipeline management. Experience with SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS is required. Backup & Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies, ensuring database integrity. Manage SQL Gateway Configuration and maintenance. Security & Access Control: Configure and maintain SQL security policies, authentication controls, and access management. Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance using indexing, query tuning, and troubleshooting techniques. Database Migration & Upgrades: Handle database migrations, upgrades to the latest SQL Server versions, and system patching. Job Scheduling & Maintenance: Create, modify, and improve SQL Server Agent tasks and maintenance plans. Troubleshoot job failures and failed processes. Key Skills Requirements 5-7 years of experience in SQL Server database administration and data engineering. Proficiency in SQL Development, including writing stored procedures, triggers, and complex queries. Strong knowledge of SQL Server Administration, backup strategies, and database security. Hands-on experience with ETL tools (SSIS), analytics (SSAS), and reporting (SSRS). Experience integrating SQL Server with external applications and Power Automate workflows. Expertise in database tuning and performance optimization techniques. Familiarity with cloud-based SQL solutions (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, etc.) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and system enhancements.
