About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with a minimum of 8 years of industry experience to join our expanding team. As a Data Scientist, you will take charge of spearheading data-driven projects, constructing advanced predictive models, and delivering strategic insights to tackle intricate business challenges. Your role will involve collaborating with diverse teams to promote data-centric decision-making and deploying innovative AI/ML solutions on a large scale. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end data science projects, starting from defining the problem to deploying models. - Create and enhance machine learning, statistical, and AI models to address business problems. - Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint opportunities for utilizing data to drive business solutions. - Analyze extensive and intricate datasets from varied structured and unstructured sources. - Develop and execute scalable data pipelines, feature engineering processes, and model training workflows. - Effectively communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure the availability of high-quality and reliable data sources. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior data scientists and analysts within the team. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI, and data science practices. - Contribute to enhancing data science frameworks, tools, and best practices within the organization. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. A Ph.D. would be a bonus. - A minimum of 8 years of practical experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, or similar domains. - Demonstrated proficiency in developing and deploying machine learning models in real-world scenarios. - Strong programming abilities in Python or R; familiarity with libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, etc. - Sound knowledge of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and data mining techniques. - Proficient in SQL and working with large relational databases; prior exposure to big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop would be advantageous. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data processing and model deployment. - Hands-on familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative development environments. - Exceptional problem-solving skills and a knack for translating business problems into data-driven solutions. - Outstanding communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have): - Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Deep Learning. - Exposure to MLOps frameworks for model monitoring, deployment, and scalability. - Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for data visualization. - Domain expertise in areas like Finance, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing can be advantageous. - Publications, contributions to open-source projects, or participation in data science competitions (e.g., Kaggle) would be a plus.
