Data Privacy (ILM) Lead WPB Markets Location: Open (Pune/Hyderabad/Gurgaon/Chennai/Bengaluru) Experience: 10+ years About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Data Privacy (ILM) Lead to drive the implementation of Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) policies across Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) markets. This role is responsible for ensuring data governance, compliance, and risk management, while working with global teams to optimize data retention and destruction strategies. Key Responsibilities: Develop & implement ILM governance frameworks across WPB markets Drive the adoption of ILM policies & procedures across multiple regions Advise business leaders on data risks and regulatory compliance Design & execute ILM strategies for structured, unstructured, and physical records Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement compliant data retention solutions Monitor & report compliance levels with data retention policies Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for ILM, supporting global business units Lead training & awareness programs on ILM risks and regulatory requirements Provide data insights to reduce risk through timely data deletion Work closely with ILM, Data Risk, and Compliance teams to align strategies Stay updated on global data privacy laws & regulatory changes Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of experience in Data Privacy, ILM, or Data Governance Expertise in Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) & Data Governance Strong knowledge of global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.) Experience managing large-scale data governance projects across multiple regions Ability to design and implement ILM frameworks in compliance with regulations Strong stakeholder management & leadership skills Experience in risk management, regulatory reporting, and compliance monitoring Knowledge of data storage, retention, and destruction best practices Project Management experience (Agile/Scrum preferred) Excellent communication skills ability to document policies & drive change Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have): Certifications like CIPP, CIPM, CDMP, or PMP Experience in financial services or banking sector,
