Job Description
As a Data Engineering Lead at Annalect, you will play a crucial role in building data pipelines and developing data set processes. Your primary responsibility will be to lead teams working on software and data products within the Annalect Engineering Team. You will be involved in technical architecture, design, and development of software products, as well as researching and evaluating new technical solutions. Your expertise will contribute to driving the vision forward for data engineering projects by improving standards and building high-performing, collaborative teams. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement customized Google Cloud solutions to meet clients" specific needs. - Design, deploy, and manage scalable Google Cloud architectures using services such as BigQuery, Firestore, DataForm, Cloud Composer, Data Flow, and Cloud Run. - Utilize Python, Git, Terraform, and Docker to optimize client applications, services, and infrastructures. - Implement DevOps methodologies for efficient software development, deployment, and monitoring. - Collaborate with Google Cloud Consultants to align technical solutions with business objectives. - Keep abreast of the latest advancements in Google Cloud technologies and best practices. Soft Skills: - Technical Communication: Clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Team Collaboration: Work effectively with diverse teams and understand the contributions of specialists. - Adaptability: Quickly respond to new client needs and changes in technical requirements. - Problem-solving: Approach challenges innovatively and provide effective solutions. - Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest Google Cloud developments and industry trends. Additional Skills: - Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, particularly Python. - Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases. - Knowledge of CI/CD tools and their integration with cloud platforms. - Optional: Understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration. - Optional: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform. Qualifications: - Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience. - Understanding and experience with Agile methodologies and their application in team settings. - Experience in working with global teams and managing offshore resources.,
