As the CTO/ Head of Engineering for a leading consumer tech company based in Gurgaon, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute the technology roadmap that is in alignment with the company's business goals and market trends. You will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring a talented team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the organization. Your role will also entail driving product development efforts from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. You will be required to establish and maintain robust systems and processes for software development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Marketing, and Operations, will be essential to deliver integrated solutions effectively. It will be your responsibility to stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the company's products and services. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, especially in the financial services sector, will be a key aspect of your role. Efficient management of technology budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships will also fall under your purview. As a technical evangelist, you will represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums. Continuous assessment and optimization of the platform's performance, security, and scalability to meet evolving business needs will be crucial to your success in this role. Key Qualifications: - Minimum 15+ years of experience - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent business experience preferred - Proven track record of leadership in a technology-driven environment - Extensive experience in software development, architecture, and engineering, with expertise in modern technologies and frameworks - Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions - Experience with cloud-based technologies, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies - Entrepreneurial mindset, passionate about driving innovation and disrupting traditional industries.,
