Job Title: Senior Developer and Technical Lead Location: EST Timezone Job Type: Full-time Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer and Technical Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and leading technical initiatives, with a focus on Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript development. This is an onshore position based in the United States. Key Responsibilities: Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript Development: Demonstrate practical, hands-on expertise in developing scalable and efficient server-side applications using Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. Microservices Architecture: Lead and contribute to the implementation of microservices or migration from monolith to microservices architecture. API Implementation: Design, implement, and optimize APIs, including REST and GraphQL, to enable seamless communication between services. AWS Cloud Platform: Utilize your experience with the AWS cloud platform to design, deploy, and manage robust and scalable applications. Serverless AWS Lambda: Apply your expertise in serverless computing, specifically with AWS Lambda, to build and maintain efficient serverless functions. Git and GitHub: Manage codebase effectively using Git and GitHub repositories, ensuring version control and collaboration best practices. Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Drive the adoption of an infrastructure-as-code approach and leverage cloud infrastructure deployment tools for efficient and reproducible deployments. Event-Driven Architecture: Architect and implement systems based on event-driven architecture to enhance scalability and responsiveness. E-commerce Platforms and Headless CMS: Leverage your experience with e-commerce platforms (Commercetools, VTEX, Fluent Commerce) and/or headless CMS (Contentstack, Amplience) for optimal solution development. Data and Content Modeling: Apply your expertise in data and content modeling to ensure effective representation and storage of information. Best Practices: Champion industry best practices, including test coverage, code review, and branching strategies to maintain code quality and team collaboration. CI/CD Approach and Automation Testing: Lead the implementation of CI/CD approaches, write automation tests, and emphasize the importance of test coverage in the development process. OOD and Design Patterns: Apply object-oriented design (OOD) skills and knowledge of design patterns to ensure scalable and maintainable code. Code Analysis Tools: Implement and manage static and/or dynamic code analyzers, linters, and other tools for maintaining code quality. Soft Skills: Demonstrate accountability, strong communication, collaboration, and effective time-management skills in a team-oriented environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. 10+ years of proven experience in a similar role. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.,
