Job Title: Cost Accountant Leather Export house Salary: 50-70k Department: Finance / Production / Merchandising Experience: 3+ year in Leather/ garments export house Location: Manesar Qualification: ICWA / CMA qualified Reports To: Director Job Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Cost Accountant with ICWA (CMA) qualification to manage and improve our cost accounting systems and procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost control, budgeting, variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze costing reports, product costing, and process costing. Maintain standard costs and update as necessary. Conduct variance analysis (standard vs. actual costs) and recommend corrective actions. Monitor and report on inventory valuation, WIP, and cost of goods sold (COGS). Collaborate with production, procurement, and inventory departments for accurate cost tracking. Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts in coordination with the finance team. Support in internal and statutory audits with cost-related data. Ensure compliance with cost accounting standards (CAS) and ICWA regulations. Provide management with reports and advice for cost efficiency and profitability. Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline cost accounting processes. Qualifications & Skills: ICWA / CMA qualified Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools. 37 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup.
