Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Cost Accountant at Vijai Electricals Ltd. in Hyderabad. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for tasks related to cost accounting, financial statements, analytical skills, journal entries, and finance within the company's operations. Perform backward costing for new upcoming projects, analyze actual material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs, compare actual costs with estimates, prepare cost variance reports, collect and verify cost data from project and procurement teams, reconcile costs with budgets and site records, update standard costing models, support tendering with historical cost data, ensure accurate cost allocation to work orders and BOQs, monitor project cost performance, participate in cost optimization efforts, maintain cost documentation for audits, ensure compliance with internal cost control policies. In-depth knowledge in working capital cycle for each project and shipment and working of value addition loss. Qualifications Cost Accounting and Financial Statements skills Analytical Skills and Journal Entries (Accounting) proficiency Strong background in Finance Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting Ability to work well in a team environment Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Professional CMA Certification,
