Job Description

You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting results of Clinical Pathology, Hematology, Biochemistry, and other departments. Your role will involve timely verification, approval, and reporting of test results, as well as collecting and analyzing abnormalities and reporting them accordingly. As part of your duties, you will be required to establish quality standards, supervise quality control, and ensure operational timelines of the Laboratory. It will be essential to ensure that all procedures are performed in compliance with NABL guidelines for specimen handling, processing, test analysis, reporting, and maintaining records of patient results. You will also play a crucial role in developing and maintaining departmental quality assurance and quality control programs. Additionally, you will need to take corrective action when indicated, develop and monitor key quality indicators and key performance indicators of the Laboratory. Continuous evaluation and assessment of operational processes in the Laboratory will be under your purview. You will be responsible for making continuous improvements in existing systems, resources, and efficiencies of the Operations Department to enhance profitability. Organizing, managing, and conducting internal and external audits as per SOPs will be part of your responsibilities. Planning CMEs (Continuing Medical Education) and preparing the center for NABL Audit will also fall within your scope of work. Overall, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the Laboratory, adhering to quality standards and regulatory guidelines to deliver accurate and reliable test results.,
