Key Responsibilities:

1. Deal Origination & Market Development

  • Identify and acquire new relationships with credible real estate developers and projects.

  • Source construction finance opportunities through personal networks, market intelligence, and real estate channels.

  • Build a healthy and high-quality deal pipeline in line with company risk appetite and business targets.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with developers, channel partners, and intermediaries.

  • Understand client needs and act as the primary point of contact through the deal lifecycle.

  • Ensure high client satisfaction by providing timely and customized financing solutions.

3. Preliminary Credit Assessment

  • Conduct initial screening of potential deals, evaluating project viability, promoter background, and funding requirement.

  • Work closely with credit, legal, and technical teams for due diligence and structuring of proposals.

4. Deal Structuring & Negotiation

  • Negotiate deal terms, security structure, pricing, and documentation with the client.

  • Prepare initial term sheets and support internal sanctioning process in collaboration with the credit team.

5. Cross-functional Coordination

  • Liaise with internal teams (credit, legal, operations, compliance) to ensure timely processing and disbursement.

  • Support post-sanction monitoring, disbursement planning, and portfolio handover.

 

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong network in the real estate developer community

  • Understanding of real estate financing products and risk metrics

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills

  • Ability to work in a target-driven and cross-functional environment

  • Familiarity with RERA, property laws, and project viability assessment

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: MBA (Finance/Marketing).

  • Experience: 2 - 10 years in real estate finance, particularly in deal origination or business development with an NBFC.
