Company Secretary

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance to the board of directors on their responsibilities and ensure effective compliance with corporate governance practices
  • Ensure that the company complies with all statutory and legal requirements, including the Companies Act and other relevant legislation
  • Manage board meetings, annual general meetings, and other board-related processes and procedures
  • Prepare and maintain statutory registers and records, including minutes of meetings, resolutions, and annual filings
  • Advise on the legal and regulatory aspects of contracts, commercial agreements, and corporate transactions
  • Stay updated with changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensure that the company adheres to these changes
  • Manage relationships with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and legal advisors
  • Conduct corporate governance reviews and implement best practices to enhance governance processes
  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and good governance

Qualifications

Education Qualification:

Qualified Company Secretary (ACS)

Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Company Secretary 
  • Demonstrated understanding of corporate governance principles and practices
