Company Secretary
Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to the board of directors on their responsibilities and ensure effective compliance with corporate governance practices
- Ensure that the company complies with all statutory and legal requirements, including the Companies Act and other relevant legislation
- Manage board meetings, annual general meetings, and other board-related processes and procedures
- Prepare and maintain statutory registers and records, including minutes of meetings, resolutions, and annual filings
- Advise on the legal and regulatory aspects of contracts, commercial agreements, and corporate transactions
- Stay updated with changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensure that the company adheres to these changes
- Manage relationships with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and legal advisors
- Conduct corporate governance reviews and implement best practices to enhance governance processes
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and good governance
Qualifications
Education Qualification:
Qualified Company Secretary (ACS)
Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience as a Company Secretary
- Demonstrated understanding of corporate governance principles and practices
- Experience in handling secretarial activities and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
