Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with securities law, FEMA, and company law regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain statutory registers and records as required by law.
  • Assist in the preparation of board meeting agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
  • Provide guidance to the board on corporate governance best practices.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities and ensure timely filings of necessary documents.
  • Support the company in maintaining its corporate structure and compliance with legal obligations.
  • Conduct research on legal and regulatory changes affecting the company.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
  • Act as a point of contact for shareholders and manage shareholder communications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with corporate governance standards.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A degree in law, commerce, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification as a Company Secretary (CS) is mandatory.
  • 1 to 6 years of relevant work experience in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of securities law, FEMA, and company law.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
