Overview of Role 66degrees is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as a Collections Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding receivables and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Analyze historical data on collections and write-offs to develop a process for estimating uncollectible accounts. Triage and, when appropriate, escalate client inquiries related to their accounts or billing to Senior Accountants. Address customer concerns and billing questions promptly and effectively, utilizing internal resources and external tools for resolution. Qualifications 4+ years experience in a collections or customer service role (preferred). Strong understanding of collections practices and procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Highly organized and detail-oriented with a hunger to automate processes. Customer-focused with a commitment to providing exceptional service. A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related or equivalent work experience required.
