Permanent Opportunity for WMS Cobol Analyst with Owens & Minor (80 support 20 development)

Experience: 2 to 8 yrs

Job Description:

We are looking for a WMS Analyst/Engineer I to join our team and contribute to the support of critical warehousing systems to aid our warehouse team's day to day operations.

 WMS Analyst I s responsibilities include resolving issues by using documented processes and logical thinking. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

• Good logical and analytical skills.
• Respond to and resolve incidents reported by users.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team and level, serve as communication point for involved resources, cross functional collaboration.
• Perform day-to-day system maintenance tasks.
• Work on incident analysis.
• Ability to follow processes.
• Mandatory Night Support and Weekend Support on rotation.
• Act as a Tier first point of contact for support issues.

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

• On call rotations

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:  

• Proven 0-2 years work experience as a developer or in a support role.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Good Analytical skills.
• Knowledge of C, .Net, C#, SQL.

                   OR

• Knowledge of COBOL, DB2/SQL, JCL, VSAM
• Efficient communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  

• Experience in warehousing or distribution preferred.
