Responsibilities: Machine Setup: Set up and operate CNC and VMC machines according to specifications and blueprints. Programming: Write or modify CNC programs to ensure efficient machining processes. Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet required specifications. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CNC and VMC machines and troubleshoot any issues. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety and health regulations. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of operations, including materials used, machine settings, and quality control results. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A certificate or diploma in engineering or a related field is a plus. Experience: At least 5 years of experience in CNC and VMC operations. Skills: Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating CNC and VMC machinery and tooling. Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings. Understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM. Attention to Detail: Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure precision in manufacturing. Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Safety and Maintenance: Commitment to health and safety standards and performing routine maintenance on machinery.
