As a CNC / VMC Programmer at VIRGAM DELICTUS - staffing and IT services in Vasai Kaman, Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in the creation and modification of CNC programs for various machining operations. Your responsibilities will include developing new CNC programs using CAD/CAM software and manual programming techniques, as well as optimizing existing programs to enhance efficiency and part quality. You will be expected to interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately translate machining requirements into CNC programs. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC/VMC machines, conducting quality checks on machined parts, and troubleshooting any issues related to machine malfunctions or programming errors. Collaboration and communication will be key aspects of your role, as you will work closely with design engineers, production teams, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and improve processes. Maintaining detailed records of programs, machine settings, and quality control data will also be vital to ensure smooth operations. To excel in this position, you should have a qualification of ITI along with 3 to 4 years of experience in CNC programming. Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming languages, experience with CAD/CAM software packages like Siemens NX and Mastercam, and knowledge of various CNC/VMC machines and their operational procedures are essential. Strong analytical and problems-solving skills, as well as an understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures, will also be required. This is a full-time role with a working time of 12 hours in a day shift, morning shift schedule.
