Job Description

You will be responsible for supervising the CNC machining operations at Jaytee Alloys & Components Limited. Your role will involve managing the CNC team, ensuring smooth production, maintaining machine health, and meeting quality and delivery targets. Your key responsibilities will include: - Supervising daily CNC machining operations, including VMC/Turning centers. - Allocating jobs, monitoring work progress, and ensuring production targets are met. - Reviewing and validating CNC programs for correctness and optimization. - Ensuring efficient machine setup, tool selection, and job changeovers. - Conducting quality checks to ensure parts meet dimensional and tolerance requirements. - Coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime. - Training, guiding, and evaluating CNC operators and setters. - Monitoring and maintaining 5S practices, safety standards, and shop discipline. - Maintaining production reports, tool usage logs, and downtime records. - Collaborating with planning, design, and quality departments to ensure a smooth workflow. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering with a minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience in CNC operations, maintenance, and production. Sound knowledge of CNC programming, such as Fanuc or Siemens, is essential.
