Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to specifications.
• Operate CNC machines, including turning and VMC (Vertical Machining Center) equipment, to produce precision components.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and implement best practices in CNC programming.
• Review technical drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate machining processes and tools required.
• Train and mentor junior staff on CNC programming and operational techniques, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 to 8 years of relevant work experience in CNC programming and operations.
• Proficiency in CNC programming languages and software, with a strong understanding of G-code and M-code.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machines, including turning and VMC operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot CNC machinery effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
