Harman is looking for Cloud Consultant-POC and Migration Engineer. Location: Bangalore Mode: Hybrid Experience: 3years to 5Years Skill set required: This cloud consultant plays a crucial role in helping organizations migrate their workloads to the cloud, offering expertise in assessment, proof-of-concept (POC), and execution. Here's a breakdown of the roles and responsibilities: Cloud Assessment and Planning Cloud Readiness Assessment: Conduct a thorough assessment of a client's on-premises IT infrastructure using cloud migration assessment tools to determine its suitability for cloud migration (public, private, or hybrid). Cloud Cost Estimation: Utilize cloud cost estimation tools to analyze potential cloud migration costs and identify cost-saving opportunities. Migration Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive cloud migration strategy considering factors like application dependencies, security, compliance, and downtime minimization. Proof-of-Concept (POC) Development and Execution POC Design and Implementation: Design and implement proof-of-concept (POC) environments to demonstrate the feasibility and benefits of cloud migration for specific applications or workloads. POC Testing and Reporting: Conduct rigorous testing of the POC environment to identify and address any potential issues before full-scale migration. Presentation of POC Findings: Effectively present the POC findings and recommendations to stakeholders, clearly outlining the benefits and potential challenges of cloud migration. Migration Execution and Support Migration Planning and Execution: Develop and execute detailed cloud migration plans, including resource mapping, data migration strategies, and cutover procedures. Migration Tool Selection and Utilization: Select and utilize appropriate cloud migration tools to automate and streamline the migration process. Post-Migration Support: Provide ongoing support after migration to ensure a smooth transition, address any emerging issues, and optimize performance in the cloud environment. Additional Skills and Responsibilities Cloud Platform Expertise: Possess strong technical knowledge of major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their migration tools. Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels. Collaborate with internal IT teams and cloud providers to ensure successful migration. Project Management: Utilize strong project management skills to keep cloud migration projects on track, within budget, and on schedule. Security and Compliance: Maintain awareness of security best practices and compliance requirements for cloud environments.,
