As a Senior Manager in Cloud and Compute, you will be responsible for enhancing scalability, maintaining high standards for code quality, and ensuring cost-effectiveness in cloud operations. To qualify for this position, you should have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field along with a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with the engineering team to identify and implement optimal cloud-based solutions, ensuring application performance, uptime, and scale, and adhering to company security guidelines while managing cloud environments. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing and implementing technical efforts to design, build, and deploy AWS applications as directed by lead architects. Troubleshooting incidents, identifying root causes, documenting issues, and implementing preventive measures are crucial aspects of this role. You should possess exceptional problem-solving skills and demonstrate the ability to proactively address issues before they impact business productivity. Mandatory skills for this position include excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Preferred skills involve expertise in public cloud services such as Azure and AWS, advanced knowledge of Domain Name System (DNS), Web Servers, Load Balancers, WAF, Networking, Internet Protocols, Micro-Services, and Cloud native services.
