Role: Closure Specialist EdTech (Teacher Enablement Programs)
Department: Sales / Inside Sales
Target Audience: Teachers, Professors, Educators, and Working Professionals in the Education Domain
Course Type: Upskilling programs "How to Teach" courses (e.g., teaching pedagogy, online delivery skills, NEP-aligned training, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Engagement & Conversion
Engage with inbound and outbound leads (mostly teachers or educators) who have shown interest in professional teaching courses.
Understand their needs, challenges, and motivation for upskilling.
Conduct product pitching and detailed counseling sessions to explain course benefits, curriculum, certifications, and career impact.
2. Consultative Selling
Act as an academic career advisor rather than a pushy salesperson.
Identify gaps in their current teaching skills and align them with course offerings.
Guide them on how the program can help them grow (e.g., transition to EdTech teaching, improve digital teaching methods, align with NEP standards).
3. Follow-up & Closure
Follow up regularly through calls, WhatsApp, emails, and Zoom meetings to resolve doubts.
Overcome objections related to price, timing, or relevance.
Drive urgency through limited-seat offers, early bird discounts, etc.
Close deals and ensure payments are made within a fixed timeline.
4. CRM & Reporting
Update daily activities, conversations, and lead status on CRM tools like LeadSquared, Zoho, Salesforce, etc.
Maintain high conversion ratios through disciplined follow-up cycles.
5. Coordination with Academic & Onboarding Teams
Liaise with academic counselors or program managers to ensure smooth onboarding once a student is closed.
Handover details of closed deals properly for program support.
