Designation Clinical Expert Job Location Gurugram, Udyog Vihar Phase 4 Job Purpose We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Clinical Expert to join our Healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will be a licensed medical doctor with a strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, processes, and workflows. This role requires a deep understanding of clinical environments and the ability to bridge the gap between medical practice and technology solutions. Desired Skills Minimum of 10+ years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting. Experience working in healthcare IT, either directly or in collaboration with IT teams. Knowledge of healthcare IT systems such as Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and Electronic Health Records (EHR). Understanding of clinical workflows, patient care processes, and healthcare regulations. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate clinical needs to technical teams. Experience with healthcare standards and data exchange protocols (HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, etc.). Ability to lead and manage clinical IT projects, from concept through implementation. Responsibilities Act as a clinical subject matter expert, providing insights into healthcare processes, workflows, and patient care. Collaborate with product development teams to ensure IT solutions align with clinical needs and regulatory requirements. Lead the integration of clinical best practices into healthcare IT systems (such as HIS, EMR, and EHR platforms). Provide input on the design and optimization of healthcare software to improve patient care, clinical efficiency, and safety. Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, product management, development, and implementation teams to ensure the effective delivery of clinical solutions. Train and mentor internal teams and healthcare professionals on the use of IT systems in clinical environments. Ensure compliance with healthcare standards, protocols, and data privacy laws, such as HIPAA, ICD-10, and HL7. Conduct clinical workflow assessments to identify gaps and recommend solutions for improvement. Stay up-to-date on medical and healthcare IT advancements, trends, and regulations to inform solution development. Support pre-sales activities by demonstrating clinical knowledge and IT solutions to prospective clients. Qualifications Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent degree is required. Certification in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) or similar. Experience with telemedicine, clinical decision support systems (CDSS), or mobile health technologies. Knowledge of quality improvement methods in healthcare (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.). Education Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent degree is required.
