CDI Specialist - Job description: Our company is looking to fill the role of CDI Specialist. We appreciate you taking the time to review the list of qualifications and to apply for the position. If you dont fill all of the qualifications, you may still be considered depending on your level of experience Focused on reviewing the medical records and identifying the gap and expertise in provider education This position requires Clinical knowledge, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, as well as a thorough understanding of documentation, coding systems and guidelines. Responsibilities Ensure documentation is accurate as well as up-to-date with the latest information on a patients illness and steps involved in clinical treatment. Providing concurrent and/or retrospective review, and improving documentation of all conditions, treatments, and care plans to ensure highest quality of care is provided to the patients Evaluating records for patients to ensure accuracy and completeness Qualifications, experience, certifications : Must be a graduate in life science - B Pharm/M.Pharm/BHMS/PT/B.Sc or M.Sc (life sciences) Coding certification (such as CCS, CPC ) or any certification from AHIMA or AAPC Required minimum 1 to 2 years of of Medical coding with CDI experience Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and coding systems Strong knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations, including ICD-10-CM and PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work collaboratively with team members and Leads Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Experience: total work: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person,
