Job Description

You are required to join as a Civil Foreman in Pune with a salary of up to 35K. The ideal candidate should have educational qualifications of SSC/HSC/Graduate and possess strong knowledge in the methodology of various civil execution activities. With 1 to 15 years of work experience, you will be responsible for planning and executing various civil construction activities. In the planning phase, you will provide resource planning to the site engineer for shuttering material and manpower. It will be your responsibility to study the drawings to verify the feasibility of de-shuttering and check steel reinforcement as per the drawing specifications. During the execution phase, your key responsibilities will include the day-to-day supervision of ongoing shuttering and steel work. You will need to monitor and control the wastage of shuttering materials and coordinate with agencies to ensure the speed and quality of work. Specifically for shuttering, you will be required to check the alignment, level, and dimensions as per the drawings for columns, beams, and slabs. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining material cleanliness and aesthetics, controlling wastage, and ensuring work completion as per the design. Regarding steel reinforcement, you will verify the compliance with the drawing specifications and provide stock details to the senior engineer and stores. You will also be responsible for checking the steel reinforcement details like bar diagrams, spacing, cover, and lap length. This is a full-time permanent position with working days from Monday to Saturday.
