Job Description

Title: Cisco ACI L3 Engineer Support Type: Hybrid Support Location: Delhi. Working hours: Monday to Friday (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) IST. Experience: 7+ to 10+ Years Contract: 1 Year + Extendable. Job Responsibilities: 1] Design and Implementation: Designing and implementing L3Out configurations within the ACI fabric, including routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VRF-lite, and integration with external networks. 2] Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving complex network issues related to the ACI fabric and its integration with external networks. 3] Capacity Planning: Monitoring network traffic, identifying potential bottlenecks, and providing recommendations for capacity upgrades. 4] Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation related to ACI configuration, troubleshooting procedures, and network designs. Required Skills and Experience: 1] Cisco ACI: Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, including APIC (Application Policy Infrastructure Controller), leaf and spine switches, and L3Out configurations. 2] Routing Protocols: In-depth knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP. 3] Networking Fundamentals: Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VLANs, VXLAN, and IP addressing. 4] Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex network issues. 5] Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. 6] Certifications: CCNP or CCIE certifications are preferred. Specific tasks related to L3Outs: 1] Configuring L3Outs: Defining the external network connectivity through L3Outs, including specifying the routing protocols, VRFs, and interface settings. 2] Managing External EPGs: Configuring External Endpoint Groups (EPGs) to represent external networks and manage traffic flows between the ACI fabric and the external network. 3] Implementing Contracts: Defining contracts to control communication between internal and external EPGs, ensuring secure and efficient traffic flow. 4] Troubleshooting L3Out Connectivity: Identifying and resolving issues related to L3Out connectivity, including routing protocol problems, interface errors, and misconfigured policies. 5] Integrating with External Devices: Integrating the ACI fabric with external devices such as routers, firewalls, and load balancers, using L3Outs and other relevant technologies. In addition to the above, the role may involve: 1] Migration from Legacy Networks: Assisting in the migration of existing networks to the ACI fabric, including the transition of L2 and L3 connectivity. 2] Participating in Design Workshops: Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop ACI design solutions. 3] Providing Support: Providing Level 3 support for the ACI fabric and its related components,
