Job Description

Position Overview:* The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will lead and manage the B2B network for channel partners, ensuring that the company remains a top choice for overseas education consultancy. The COO will be responsible for overseeing seven key departments: Contract Management, Business Development, Social Media Marketing, Processing, Finance, and Human Resources (HR). The primary focus will be on driving business growth, optimizing operations, and ensuring profitability while maintaining strong relationships with channel partners and universities. Key Responsibilities:* 1. *Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:* - Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy that aligns with the companys goals and objectives. - Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth within the B2B network, including expanding partnerships and securing exclusive contracts with universities. - Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the market and adjust strategies accordingly. 2. *Contract Management:* - Oversee the Contract Management department to ensure all contracts with universities and channel partners are negotiated, executed, and managed effectively. - Ensure that contracts are compliant with legal standards and align with the companys financial and strategic goals. - Monitor contract performance and renewal timelines to maintain strong, ongoing relationships. 3. *Business Development:* - Lead the Business Development department in identifying and onboarding new channel partners, with a focus on securing exclusive partnerships. - Ensure that the business development team is equipped to negotiate and close deals that are beneficial for both the company and its partners. - Set clear targets for the business development team and monitor their performance against these goals. 4. *Social Media Marketing:* - Guide the Social Media Marketing department in developing and executing campaigns that build brand awareness and engage both existing and potential channel partners. - Ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives and contribute to the growth of the B2B network. - Oversee the creation of unique social media strategies that incorporate SEO, content marketing, and targeted advertising. 5. *Processing Operations:* - Supervise the Processing department to ensure that all student applications are handled efficiently, with all required documents and university shortlists managed accurately. - Ensure that channel partners receive timely and accurate support, improving conversion rates and maintaining satisfaction. - Streamline processing operations to maximize efficiency and minimize delays. 6. *Financial Management:* - Work with the Finance department to develop and manage budgets, ensuring that the companys financial health is maintained and profitability is achieved. - Oversee financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, to ensure accurate and timely financial insights. 7. *Human Resources (HR):* - Lead the HR department in recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent across all departments. - Foster a positive and productive workplace culture that aligns with the companys values and goals. - Ensure that HR policies and practices support the companys growth and operational needs. 8. *Stakeholder & Partner Relations:* - build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including university partners, channel partners, and investors. - Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance its reputation and network. - Ensure that all partnerships are nurtured and developed to foster long-term collaboration and success. 9. *Performance Monitoring & Reporting:* - Regularly review the performance of all departments and provide guidance to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Report to the Board of Directors on the companys progress towards its goals, including financial performance, partnership development, and operational milestones. - Implement data-driven decision-making processes to ensure that the companys strategies are effective and results-oriented.
