Job Description

As the leading international supplier of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), we at TAPI take pride in offering the industry's broadest portfolio of over 350 API products. Supporting 80% of the top 50 global pharmaceutical companies, we have a reliable history dating back over 80 years, making us one of the most trusted API suppliers in the market. Our experience, expertise, technologies, and exceptional customer service have positioned us as a global leader in the generic API industry. At TAPI, our success is driven by our dedicated employees. Headquartered in Israel, we have a team of over 4,000 professionals spread across 14 sites worldwide. Our state-of-the-art production facilities are strategically located in Italy, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Israel, Mexico, and India. With a strong focus on research and development, we continuously invest in innovation to introduce new products to the market efficiently. The opportunity at TAPI involves utilizing your capabilities in organic chemistry to design and conduct multi-step organic synthesis. You will be responsible for identifying and selecting various routes of synthesis for developing non-infringing processes for API molecules. Additionally, you will organize raw materials, chemicals, reference standards, glassware, and specialized equipment for laboratory use. A strong self-motivated mindset and belief in teamwork, coupled with adherence to Good Laboratory Practice, are essential for success in this role. You will be tasked with optimizing the development of economically viable and eco-friendly technologies at the bench scale, generating data for DMF filing of final APIs, preparing safety reports, and contributing to the development of new API molecules. Collaboration as a good team player across departments is key to excelling in this role. Your day will be spent developing cost-effective, non-infringing, and eco-friendly processes for complex or small molecules, ensuring smooth technology transfer to pilot plants and commercial scales, and preparing necessary documents for regulatory authorities. You will provide support to various departments during development and technology transfer phases. To qualify for this position, you should hold an M.Sc in Chemistry or Organic Chemistry with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. The competencies required include analytical thinking, agility and resilience, following processes and procedures, and a learning orientation. Join us at TAPI and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to innovation, excellence, and global impact.,
