Position Title: Center Head Medpark Hospital, Mohali Location: Mohali, Punjab Hospital Type: 50-Bedded Multi-Specialty Hospital Reporting To: Company Director / Board Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Center Head to lead our 50-bedded multi-specialty Medpark Hospital in Mohali. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving hospital operations with strong focus on P&L management, cost control, quality patient care, and medical administration. The Center Head will also play a key role in business development, resource planning, and team leadership while ensuring compliance with clinical, financial, and regulatory standards. Salary: Best in industry. No bar for the right candidate. Preferred Qualification: Graduation: MBBS/BAMS/BHMS/BDS/BPT Postgraduation: Masters in Hospital & Healthcare Management Experience: 8-10 years in hospital administration with direct exposure to medical administration, cost optimization, P&L responsibility, and business growth. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Planning & Leadership Lead the development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) in alignment with group goals. Define KPIs for departments, drive performance management and ensure strategic targets are achieved. Work closely with leadership team on new initiatives and hospital positioning. 2. Financial & P&L Management Ensure complete ownership of the Hospital P&L, ARPOB, ALOS, revenue targets, collections, and EBITDA margins. Monitor and analyse income statements, variance analysis, and financial KPIs. Implement cost control measures across consumables, HR, utilities, pharmacy, and support services. Lead budgeting exercises and ensure optimal resource utilization. 3. Business Development & Marketing Coordinate with marketing teams for local outreach, doctor referrals, CMEs, health camps, and digital campaigns. Track patient acquisition sources, analyse business drivers, and plan for volume and revenue growth. Establish strong relationships with consultants, community doctors, corporates, and institutions. Drive topline growth through improved service-mix, panel onboarding (CGHS/ECHS/Insurance), and new specialties. 4. Medical & Clinical Administration Ensure smooth coordination between clinical and non-clinical teams. Work closely with medical leadership and consultants to ensure protocol compliance, clinical quality, and patient safety. Maintain NABH and regulatory compliance across departments. Oversee documentation, medical records, infection control, biomedical waste, and statutory requirements. 5. Operations Management Ensure effective functioning of departments such as Front office, IPD Billing, OPD/IPD Patient Care Services, Diagnostics, Emergency, and Facility Services (Security, Housekeeping, F&B). Review SOP adherence, service turnaround time, and patient satisfaction indicators. Resolve escalated patient concerns with empathy and operational agility. Regular MIS reporting to management on performance, patient feedback, and department KPIs. 6. People Management Lead recruitment, training, and development of staff across clinical and non-clinical functions. Ensure manpower planning is aligned with patient volumes and business needs. Monitor staff morale, attrition, and drive a performance culture. Work closely with HR on employee engagement, compliance, and disciplinary actions if needed. 7. Procurement & Materials Management Monitor procurement processes for medical and non-medical consumables, equipment, and vendor contracts. Drive inventory optimization, cost savings, and timely availability of supplies. Coordinate with SCM and biomedical teams to ensure operational efficiency. 8. Quality, Accreditation & Compliance Ensure the hospital is audit-ready at all times for NABH and regulatory inspections. Oversee clinical audits, patient safety programs, infection control, and internal assessments. Uphold highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and patient rights. Desired Profile Education: MHA / MBA in Healthcare / Hospital Administration from a reputed institution. Experience: 812 years in hospital operations with minimum 5 years in a leadership role in a similar setup.
