Job Description

The role at Apple requires expertise in multiple layers of cellular protocols, focusing on UE and/or NW protocols development for various 3GPP technologies. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of relevant protocol procedures and network interactions. Responsibilities include architecture, design, development, and maintenance of cellular protocol device-side host test and network simulation environment. Key Qualifications: - Proficiency in one or multiple cellular technologies such as UMTS, HSPA, HSPA+, LTE, NR, etc. - Strong experience in Protocol Development, especially in NAS/AS/Data Plane protocols within LTE/NR domain - Hands-on experience in Cellular SW Protocol Architecture & Design, HW/SW Split, and Performance Analysis - Excellent software development and debugging skills (C, C++, script) - Experience in cellular protocol stack host test or simulation environment development - Skilled in test case scripting, regression test suites debugging following ETSI/3GPP protocol technical specifications - Understanding of TTCN-3, development, debugging, and integration of TTCN-3 test cases - Familiarity with standard software development & tool environment - Highly motivated, proactive, fast learner, and a good team player - Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills Education & Experience: - Bachelor or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is preferred Join Apple and be part of a team that drives innovation and develops products used by millions worldwide.
