Job Description
As a Category Manager - Decor at our company, you will play a crucial role in shaping the design strategies and executing creative concepts for the wedding and event industry. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends, materials, and pricing. You will collaborate closely with suppliers and vendors to gather essential information and maintain strong relationships throughout the process. In this role, you will develop and implement category and design strategies, presenting detailed proposals and creative concepts to support our vision of transforming the wedding industry. It is essential to have a Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Textile Design, Event Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. A proven track record of 4-5 years as a Category Manager - Decor or in a similar role within the wedding/event industry is preferred. Strong analytical skills, design sensibility, and excellent communication abilities are key requirements for this position. You should be able to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating attention to detail, organizational skills, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in design software and tools would be an advantage.
