Job Title: Career Counselor
Location: Mumbai

Salary:-2.40 L – 3 L

Interview Process:- Initial interview will be taken through mobile and subsequent round will be thru SkyPe or Personal discussion for outstation candidates and Local candidate Face to Face.
Notice Period:- Immediate to 30 Days
Role and Responsibilities
Career counselors provide advice and guidance to clients: Students & their parent who are interested in getting guidance in future education and career. Based on students’ strengths & weakness derived through assessments like Brain Mapping or other Aptitude measures, the counselor will be required to present the entire report to the client
Responsibilities
- Responsible to suggest the best education and career options from all the available and relevant options
- Preferably a candidate with experience from education counselling or consulting background with minimum 1 year of team leading experience required in the field of international / domestic education
- Based on students’ strengths & weakness derived through assessments like Brain Mapping or other Aptitude measures, the counselor will be responsible to present the entire report to the client
- Contacting candidates, arranging interviews, counselling them and updating with further follow-ups
- Good IT skills including Excel, PowerPoint, databases, and internet research.
- Flexibility to work within a fast-paced environment.
- Organizing counseling programs.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and help client making the best choice for education and career
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Graduation in Psychology/ Counselling / Industrial Psychology or Social Development preferred with certifications in different types of assessments (appropriate license preferred)
- Strong Investigative, interpersonal, assessment and communication Skills (English must)
- Excellent in displaying clinical judgement with an extensive knowledge of ever-changing trends in all dominant industries including the obscure job opportunities
DESIRED PROFILE
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in assessing aptitude, personality, interests, and other aspects of students
- Must have an access to the resources and knowledge that a career expert possesses
- Excellent communication & presentation skills.
- Must have excellent listening and analytical skills
- Basic Computer Skills in MS Office and data entry.
