What You Will Do In this role, you will be responsible for preparation of daily manufacturing and submittal drawings for Louvers. Responsible for all aspects of mechanical design requirements of louvers Analysis and evaluating engineering design, review drawings (Architectural drawings, mechanical drawings & structural drawings.). Must understand mechanical & structural design. How You Will Do It Work with Sales, Engineering & CAD team for 2D drafting. Co-ordinate with all stakeholders across all the stages of the product design/drawing. Create 2D, BOM, manufacturing drawings as part of standard CAD package. Ensure quality and timeliness design release. Work with design team to create /update design standards. To maintain effort and schedule as defined for the project. Maintain quality documents to be process compliant Required What we look for BE/BTECH/ME/MTECH-Mechanical Engineering 6+ years of experience in Mechanical design. Hands on experience on 2D drafting. Expertise in AutoCAD software (Blocks creation & sheet set) Experience in product designing including documenting detailed scope and project schedule. In depth knowledge of Louvers, Dampers & HVAC product. Autodesk inventor added advantage. Knowledge of vb.net will be added advantage. Good communication skills, analytical skills, self-motivated, high performing & goal oriented. Knowledge Knowledge, skills, and abilities required: Good knowledge of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance) Knowledge of ASHRAE standards will be added advantage Knowledge of HVAC product like AHU/Dampers/RTU. knowledge of DFMEA, Sheet metal, extrusion, welding. Knowledge of Louver test standard like AMCA testing/UL testing Understand and follow the product development process for NPD/NPI Skills 3D/2D CAD Design Product design process Software Knowledge Working proficiency in the CAD (2D) software AuoCAD as per project needs ,
